Since the internet arrived in Vietnam in 1997, the country has steadily built its reputation as a formidable tech ecosystem. While global attention focused elsewhere, Vietnamese engineers were quietly mastering complex systems, contributing to open-source projects, and building products used by millions worldwide. LabX emerged from this underground movement of technologists who saw artificial intelligence not as hype, but as the next fundamental shift in computing. We are researchers, engineers, and builders working at the intersection of machine learning and practical application, pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve in Southeast Asia and beyond.
We focus on applied AI research in natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. Our work spans model optimization, efficient training techniques, and novel architectures for resource-constrained environments.
Bridging academic research and production systems. We prototype rapidly, validate hypotheses with real data, and iterate based on measurable outcomes rather than assumptions.
Building scalable AI infrastructure and production-grade models. We write clean code, optimize for performance, and maintain systems that handle real-world complexity and scale.
Small, focused teams working on hard problems. We value technical depth, clear communication, and the ability to ship. No corporate hierarchy, just engineers who respect each other's craft.
Systematic testing of hypotheses with proper baselines and metrics. We run experiments, analyze results, and make data-driven decisions. Fast iteration cycles, rigorous evaluation.
Building tools and models that solve real problems. We measure success by deployment, adoption, and tangible improvements in how people work and create with AI.
